Not going to happen in the foreseeable future. The Pirates 'model' doesn't include spending much dough on players. We've had some pretty good unknowns but they leave for more money.
Now the Pirates organization makes a very nice profit. Great place to watch a game too. I was going to make a banker/republican joke here but can't out of respect for my homeland.

For me it was the 15-0 shellacking for one reason, my beer actually got warm during the fourth inning because I was cheering so much and did not have time to drink it.............the horror.

160 games a year? Why in the hell do they need so many? Fans don't even go to the games for most teams. If they cut it down to 30 regular season games, cut the games down to 4 innings with a max of 2 extra innings, and legalize steroids.... then I might tune in.

As if ALL of the injuries weren't enough, today David Wright taken to hospital after being hit in the head with a 94mph fastball.

What else can happen to this team?
