saying God never intervened so it must be good is a cop out. just like any other addiction maybe you just haven't hit your bottom yet. will it take for your marriage to fail and your family to fall apart for you to stop denying?
you say you're completely content in your relationship with the spirits but you also say you've given in to them. happy wife happy life, if you want to see their true nature, reject them. really try to get away from them like you'd try to get away from a jealous woman in the material plane. see what happens.
what's the difference between someone having an internet relationship with someone they've never met in person except for seeing a couple of photos online and soemone having a relationship with a spirit? none.
little girls discover the ones they've been chatting with are overweight, balding slobs. one day you will see the true form of your spiritual partner too and it won't be pretty either.
i've read this entire thread and i can relate. maybe you should read from page one again and see that you've answered all your own questions. no one can help you get rid of them because you don't really want them gone. you are addicted to Lust and Passion and the first step is admitting it.
if you really want them gone you have to show your desire for righteousness is more than your desire for them. you mentioned you are christian and that you read the bible and pray a couple times a week. it is not enough. your reading and praying, basically your communication with God has to be more than your communication with them if you want to see any change. 'if you want' is the operative line.
i guarantee if you give it an honest shot to the point the spirits actually feel threatened of losing you, it will get worse before it gets better but then you'll see their true nature and hopefully your reaction will be a stronger desire to be free rather than to appease the spirits.
didn't you recognize jesus knocking at the door that day? it's not too late to wake up. i really hope you do.

"No, I'm not a parapsychologist. I have a normal degree in psychology. Just stating so, to show how I understand mental illness as a seperate issue than that of paranormal experiences. I don't equate them as one in the same. I was speaking, above, of attachments/possesion. Not of paranormal activity. Posession is energy attachment while activity is merely the shivers, noises, etc you described and can be either negative OR positive, or even neutral energy"
Well, your almost one, maybe you should join them.

I apologize for my necessary absence.
eduardmc or anyone experiencing this can email me firstname.lastname@example.org I am also part of another community created specifically for research about these beings in a respectible, rational forum of others who are both curious and who experience this.
I am Christian. I believe in John 3:16 however I don't believe the Bible is infallible. That's a statement not a challenge. If you want to debate somewhere else thats fine.
As stated, I was a devoted thumper in the early-mid 1980's for several years. I soaked up and believed everything which was fed. Filled with the Holy Ghost, I walked a 150% devoted life praying almost constantly, Bible study 2-3x / week, insulated myself from undesirable influence, Services 3-4x /wk, visited orphanages & prisons with the group and talked to strangers on the street about Christ's saving grace from the depths of my heart.
I understand where the thumpers are coming from, however I reject the idea of not being Christian enough, not devoted enough and not doing enough. I accept Christ as the Son of God, however since then I reject the religion of man and keep to myself.
I attend Mass for my family's sake and nothing more.
That's all I have for now, I'll try and keep this more updated.

As for your case, you say it happens to you when you are very tired. So I'm assuming since you're half asleep you entered a dream state at that point.
