It is in the preview for D-9 so hopefully someone will not think of the preview as being a spoiler.

Spielberg is currently making Tin Tin with Peter Jackson. I think Spielberg is directing the first and Jackson producing and then they're going to switch roles for the sequel.

This is feature length version of a short film called Alive in Joburg, that Neill Blomkamp did a few years ago. He did a series of short films that are worth checking out. You could probably find most all of them on youtube. This guy is multi talented. He writes, directs, and does his own computer animation. He has also done a series of amazing commercials that you have probably seen for various companies. Apparently Neill and Peter Jackson have become good friends over the past several years. He was Peter's first choice to direct the Halo movie. If you have seen the Halo shorts they released a while back, that was all Neill's work. This is his first shot at a feature length film, and I wish him the best. I think he has a unique and creative mind that could potentially produce some amazing original films. I am curious about how the plot will unfold in District 9. The short was a snippet of what the situation was like in Africa. A short documentary commenting on a situation going on in Joburg. Now that it is a full length motion picture, I am very curious to see where this concept goes.
