Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi urged the world Thursday to understand what motivates terrorists, and likened the 1986 U.S. strikes on Libya to Osama bin Laden's terror attacks.

So is this confusing anyone is this person on another power trip. I distinctly recall as the article states that he and the world community had come to an understanding regarding terrorists. The following quote is very brave and confusing as to what his intentions are.

Sarcastically, he asked, "What's the difference between the U.S. airstrikes on our homes and bin Laden's actions?" If anything, he said, bin Laden is an outlaw, while the United States is a country that should abide by international law.

We are living in strange times.
