For 15 years, scientists have benefited from data gleaned by U.S. classified satellites of natural fireball events in Earth's atmosphere — but no longer.

A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by hush-hush government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released, has learned.

So what's up with this? What are they trying to hide?

It just doesn't sound right, more like a 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain' manuever.

This small snippet says it all for me.

Scientists say not only will research into the threat from space be hampered, but public understanding of sometimes dramatic sky explosions will be diminished, perhaps leading to hype and fear of the unknown.

Maybe they want people to be scared.
Or something big is heading our way and they dont want panic.

This is the set up for the "next" event to usher in the rest of the global economic market....
We have to keep people who would tattle tail out of the loop....
We have contact with a pending "threat" in space... We are going to need every ones backing in these troubling times...All nations must come together to face this threat...All economic fronts must merge and military alliances must work under one leadership to meet the needs of the world in the face of this threat....
