Well they are not cgi, i know that for sure. I mean listen to these guys... No way they could do cgi. As far as lanterns go.. well... I dun think so but thats just me

Fire balloons only have to be shown once to prove all the
unknowns are balloons as well.

Only one may be a sparky embarrassing ufo with a rookie pilot.
Then the cover up patrol sends out the fire balloons.

In day time you get cloud makers to cover the stranded ufo.
