Military says incoming fireballs from space ...classified.

I found this on Faux News but originally reported by Space.com. Apparently the miliatry feels it is of national security interests to classify all information gleened from military spy satellites , in regards to incoming fireballs and meteorites.

This story for obvious reasons sent my CT lobe into rapid synapse firing mode. What say you? Are they just trying to hide thier space surveillance capability or something else?

Good catch, djvexed. I always wonder at the don't worry be happy explanations that the earth is 2/3 water...that really isn't all that comforting. Sounds like something could be incoming. Might be a good time to hook up with some amateur astronomers. I wonder how many have real time feeds...if you're the sort who likes to know about these things.
