It's not a real book. It was part of the Lovecraft/Cthulhu mythos.

Along with The King in Yellow, The Necronimicon, The Book of Eibon (or Livre d’Eibon), Cultes des Goules, The People of the Monolith, The Pnakotic Manuscripts, Seven Cryptical Books of Hsan, Unaussprechlichen Kulten (a.k.a Black Book, or Nameless Cults), etc.

Here's a link with more info. Tomes

EDIT: My mistake,The King in Yellow was written by Robert W. Chambers, a long time friend of H.P. Lovecrafts'(1865-1933)

Robert Bloch (author of Psycho) created the character Ludvig Prinn and "De Vermis Mysteriis".

hey Mr!

My name is Florian and I'm from germany.
I'd also like to read a version of this book and i'm pretty good in latin, so if you knew, where we could find a copy of the original text, i would help you to translate the whole book into english, which is in my eyes always better than reading any translated text because you lose too much of the origin, by translating, you know!

You may contact me via e-mail: bobreaker@nexgo.de

Best regards and wishes
