In the beggining of the movie there was a passage of some sort and at the bottom it told where it came from, I dont remember it, does any anyone know the name of it, all I remember is de vermis or something like that.

I didn't see the movie, but de vermis is probably a reference to one of the unholy tomes in the Cthulhu mythos. Try this link:

De Vermis Mysteriis (Mysteries of the Worm) was, like the Necronomicon, created by HP Lovecraft for his Cthulhu Mythos. It is possible that he had knowledge of ancient writings (for example those the Ancient Egypt and Sumeria) and later added pieces into his stories to add credence.

Just as other fim makers have created their own 'Necronomicon quotes', so have the creators of 'Hellboy' - this time using 'De Vermis Mysteriis'.

It seems he can't take info given to him/her and be done with it.
The thing I'm most upset with is that he had several people answering the same question in a few different threads.
