i guess time will tell. we as a race have already invested in this future there is no turning back. if we survive as a race into the next century without any major changes to our society A.I. will seem as common place as the internet.

as far as i have observed there seem to be 2 personality types, the type that run head long into the future with not a moment to ask if the bridge is out and the type so scared of falling off the road that they dont move. the ideal personality is somewhere in between, adventurous but still cautious.

i hope for all our sakes the people involved in these fields have the wisdom experience and courage to do the right thing. right by the human race and not the race for technology.

dont be surprised. this may well be the future. obviously this is just CGI but i can imagine how if the police force ever became privatized they would resort to robots. no medical no insurance no questions. following orders to the letter.
