It's another name for substitution cipher, like rot13 and others, basically what we had to do to solve it.

Spot on, Caesar Cipher it is well done!

As you all now know I took the quote from the Usual Suspects, fed it into a Caesar Cipher encoder with a letter of "C" or a substition of 2 and then translated that into Binary.

Glad you all had a bit of fun, I'll look at creating another if you like?

I'm flagging this thread only 'cos I love puzzles.

Puzzles and ciphers are cool.

And on an "always-serious" site like ATS, it's nice to see something light-hearted yet cool once in a while!

Well done!

Now hopefully no one rips me for flagging a non-conspiratorial thread.

(easier ones too, for people who aren't that expertised in substitution ciphers...)

Of course the G was the letter E because it repeats quite a bit.

I just figured the first word was "The" and it went easy from there...too bad I didn't see this thread earlier...
