I agree this website is mostly left sided with a few that are nuetral and a few still who are right leaning.

Bush, Cheney and Rove bashing topics are still very popular and any who dissagrees in them are immediatly labeled a NEO Con.

Most of those that voted for Obama are now saying there is no differance between Repubs and Dems simply because Obama hasn't done anything good. Now they are mostly posting Ron Paul clips saying we should listen to this guy.

They bought a brand new yacht and found that it is full of holes.

There are still some who are die hard Obama fans and will defend him by blaming everything on Bush and Cheney.

I will stand by my vote for McCain as I feel he was the ideal canidate for what is going on in the world. Both would have jacked up the economy worse then what they found it in, but atleast we would have had a tough leader where foreign issues are concerned.

Obama could have been a great President with a few more years of expieranece, during a economic surplus and without the wars. I think he threw his hat in the mix 4 years to soon and now we are seeing the inexpierance shine through.

But ATS as in the real world isn't and will never be a nuetral website where politics is concerned.

Your are correct in some regard. I don't know about the other forums though...as I don't visit them much at all...mostly just the political and breaking news forums.

I agree...as I'm an antiwar/small government "Conservative" If that's what it's called...that this site does lean right.

But this IS a conspiracy site. At the time of the elections there were far more lefties around...many have left.

Why?

Their man is in office now. Bush is gone and many left when he left office....although you still find plenty of people who DESPISE Bush...including me.

If the political spectrum switches again....the left/right speaking points paradigm will change as well.

WORD!

Tis the truth, with the "victory" comes the victors headache!

Although I can say the lefties are thinning out considerably...

I know of four-five that I would consider heavy posting lefties.

Five times that on the conservative side

I made a quick list and that righty # is actually higher than five times. I doubt I should post the "list", doesn't matter.

I might be over looking some of my fellow socialists, I can't seem to think of anymore who are politicos

YES my head hurts

I feel for yall up to 2009!

It was easier/ better tossing the stones I must add

My turn

1) Learn to quote.

2) I have been here far longer than you have and have put up with far more than you have from those I have openly condemned in my initial commentary.

3) The fact that you responded with what you have shows that I hit a cord and to be honest, I hope it hurt. Remember, the truth can set you free.

4) I have no need to prove you wrong being my time and past commentaries on this type matter, as can be affirmed by a number of other long time ATS members, can readily be obtained, found, or administered. Brave words for one who has not seen ATS evolve as some of us longer-termed ATS residents have witnessed and harshly encountered.

How many anti-Bush threads were there on any given day in the recent threads list during the last few years up to and including right after the election? Bush is no longer in office, therefore people talk about him less. Obama is currently in office, therefore people talk about him more.

In response to the OP, I agree. I've caught it from both sides depending on what thread I'm posting in. The liberals call me a neo-con and the conservatives call me a liberal, though they generally don't use such nice terms for it. I hate both parties, and hate Bush and Obama equally. They're both lairs and con-men, just as most politicians are, and I for one still won't drink the kool-aid. Didn't drink it for the last President, won't drink it for this one.

Couldn't care less if people can't see far enough past labels to see that I don't fit neatly into any political category, actually. Those who like to throw the labels around are easily over-looked in favor of reading posts from those who know how to discuss topics, regardless of their political leanings, instead of tossing insults at me to see what will stick.
