The candidates include:
PRESIDENT MAHMOUD AHMADINEJAD

MIR HOSSEIN MOUSAVI - Iran's last prime minister from 1981 to 1989

MAHDI KARROUBI - Twice served as parliament speaker, most recently from 2000-4, and ran for president in 2005.

MOHSEN REZAEI - served as commander of the powerful Revolutionary Guard from 1981-97.

its an interesting read but.....

Rafsenjani (sp) is much more interesting IMHO. While he is a relative moderate, he weilds a lot of power behind the scenes.
