Scary, and you can look at it from any point of view with an open mind and see how bad these things really are, it was bad when Obama took office, but his administration took that, exploited it for their agendas, and are going to make things much worse.

Most Americans will not accept any of this until it impacts them personally, and it WILL!

I have dealt with a kind of corruption and darkness in my life that would seem like the stuff of fiction, I have and still deal with threats that would strike fear into anyone. But this president, and more particularly the course this nation is now on scares me far worse. Because I am beginning to see the future for my children and theirs... And it angers me, and frightens me, not for myself, but for them.

I can only hope that the people of this nation can stop this before it is too late.

How do we measure success?

President Obama, when he was President-elect, promised that he and his economic staff through their plans when in office "create or save" between 3,000,000 and 4,000,000 jobs.

The fact is millions more than that have lost their jobs since he took office, and very recently the president claims that his plans have created or saved at least 150,000 jobs... Based on made-up facts that do not exist.

NO ONE sees these discrepancies and reports them in the MSM?

That is only one example.

The trillions they have spent so far and only "created or saved" 150,000 jobs?

Give me a trillion dollars my friends and let me show you how many jobs I can create!!

Be afraid of this one... very!

I dont want him or the government creating jobs for us........I want WE THE PEOPLE to be creating the jobs, keep things in the private sector......

That is the thing, the media is controlling the flow of information, but the facts are all there for anyone to find and review for themselves.

I do not see this as partisan issues, I could care less about right or left.

Common sense and a good look at the facts is all anyone should need here to see how badly wrong things are going.

This is not politically motivated.

If the trillions that have been and will be wasted does not alarm you, then you must be either star struck by the new President, or completely ignorant.

Deny ignorance?

If what is going on doesn't scare you, then there may be no hope, because as I see it, there are too many just like you. Whoever you are.

I totally agree, this has been going on for ages by both sides of our corrupt political lines.

It just seems to be coming to a head, why NOW i have no idea.......

I think like you do, that people have gotten too use to their news and information being spoon fed to them, they need to get out and research and find out on their own, dig a little bit.

It is however OUR country that is going down, and the future of our kids and their kids.......such far reaching disaster should be enough to shake anyone out of their zombie like sleep.

Man, I know you didn't mean it literally, but there are a number of people who don't know the difference.

The Government, never, ever, has created a single job.

Never.

What they do is take your personal dollars you earned from your private sector job, and hand that money to a government employee to do administrative, non-productive work. They don't Produce anything, they don't create anything, they don't improve the revenue stream.

That's not creating a job.

That's draining the barrel.

Want to create jobs? Cut personal and business taxes to 10%. We'd have damn near full employment inside two years.

Have you taken the time to envision that future based on what you have learned so far?

Unless things change, the devalued dollar and hyperinflation created by trillions in spending, these things alone should provide a very vivid forecast of the future.

One would almost be able to assume that this President is hell bent on the destruction of this country.

Though to his credit he did say that they were going to "remake America"

Imagine a future where the economy is nearly entirely controlled by the government, and the people are all dependant on the government in varying levels based on income and taxes.

A future where the people will drive only the vehicles the government will allow them to.

A future where the people will have no choice but to accept government controlled health care.

A future were the US dollar is either so devalued that it is reduced to a third world currency, or that it is dumped completely for an international currency.

A future police state that could result from chaos and civil unrest where freedoms are even further restricted.

A future of national debt that the incoming revenues cannot even cover the interest on the debt.

I could go on.... But just start with the trillions in new spending and government expansions... First learn what a trillion dollars really is, and learn to appreciate it before it is devalued, then take a long look at the known government plans.

In no time at all, you can see how the future will likely shape up. And you need no psychic abilities!

It can be stopped, or at least the damage can be minimized if the people take action whenever and wherever possible.

But I am losing faith in the people.

First they have to set aside their partisan beliefs and awaken to the facts.

Doesn't look like either will happen for far too many.

Yes i should probably chose some of my wording a little different, i forget someones that not everyone sees things from my perspective and can misunderstand what i mean, thanks for reminding me!

The road we are heading down is a slippery slope.....devaluing the dollar, spending out of control, printing money, running off big business, taking over large corporations......dissuading the wealthy to do business here because of the "Punish the rich" perspective.....this spread the wealth thing isnt going to work.......we cant expect government to take care of us when we refuse to take care of ourselves......with all the corruption, who in their right mind would want them to have that power in the first place?

To the "Spread the wealth thing" I heard hannity explain it like this once to a bunch of young liberal college kids...the responses were comical....

"So you have a 3.0 or 4.0 grade average that youve worked hard for, if your belief were to be used in school, shouldnt you then spread your grade point averages of the top students to the students who dont study as hard or do the work so that they can have the same opportunity"

Its not verbatim but you get the point

Despite my efforts to express this in a non-partisan way, and that these are very important current issues this thread was moved from a current events forum to a politics forum.

I highly doubt anything good can come from this now, so why not send it to the trash bin.

Everything is politics dammit.

THAT IS WHAT IS WRONG. It is how we got here.

It is what created and elected President Obama, and empowered him with majority rule. It was a biased and manipulated media that spoon fed the masses exactly what they needed to hear and nothing more.

Whether you are right, left far right or far left, democrat or republican, or any other damned thing you want to call yourselves is irrelevant now.

The future is ours, but we will not take it because politics will tell us where to go, who and what to vote for and ultimately how to THINK!

When they were chanting "Death to America" someone was listening and preparing to do just that.

They were also yelling threats at people and if you look for video's you find them yelling to people that now we are going to see what its like to live under the iron fist of the Black Man or some such nonsense.

I'm not only old enough to remember the original's, I survived a confrontation with them. In the Watt's area they would often single out any White person and beat the crap our of them for fun. They were just another gang of cheap thugs just like their current reincarnation.

Link to video of Police making them move and stop intimidating voters with their billy clubs. You will also notice the Jack Boots and the pseudo uniforms to further intimidate voters.

Obama most certainly did see to it they were not prosecuted even though the things they did are on tape and are Felonies.

Why are you pretending the original Black Panthers were just a Political Organization. Is it because you think everyone here is to young to know and you are rewriting history?

It is unfortunate that these events arent being reported by the mainstream, but there is a pattern that has been set since his early rise for that, youd have to be blind not to see.......

On Topic! I happen to agree with this letter. A challenge to all of the people who gripe and moan about the government, and it's policies. Cut and past the letter. Email it or snail mail it(or both) to the white house. Put your real name on it. Let them know how you feel, instead of bitching and moaning.

I like what he's written and feel he makes some very good points.

I tell you what scares me. That Bidden speech just before the election. Isn't it about time for that "trial" that will test Obama? If it will happen, I would expect something by the end of July.
