
omg. Hey, that's what I hit on the Minago River, on highway 373. We were heading home on the second last leg of the highway, when i suddenly saw this
great-dane sized creature. I could never compare it against anything; but now that i've seen the pictures posted up here, I know for sure what it was
that collided with my van. It was a side impact, I know it kept on going. So, it is still alive in northern manitoba. How bizarre. The more you think
you know your environment and everything in it, along comes a mystery.

These have existed in Maine, first sightings reported back in the 1800's.
Owners of large domesticated dogs such as Rottweilers have been killed without a problem.
There was an episode of in on "Monster Quest" last winter.
