Royal Canadian Mint's 'lost' gold worth a mint

www.thestar.com

"Canada's money-makers can't find tens of millions in precious metals that are shown on the books"

While officials at the Royal Canadian Mint have not publicly released a value, insiders have confirmed that auditors are trying to track precious metals, believed to be gold, worth in the "double digits" of millions

This seems to be a trend here latley starting back at 9/11 with all the gold taken from tower #2 I think, or #1,can't remember. Anyway there has been a few reports of mass amounts of precious metals espically gold being "Lost". Yeah right. Someone or some group more likley is stock piling gold for some reason. Wonder how long it will be before we here about some screw up or hiest at Fort Nox ?? Im willing to bet it will be before the end of 2010. ya think ?

Very interesting and scary indeed! UK and USA have both "lost" vast amounts of gold. The Fed has lost $1 trillion in funds, they are arresting and seizing gold from the Liberty Coin makers.

Someone has a vast need for these precious metals, and it is disturbing to think why?!?

Is this for a post-apolyptic world? Is this the fruition of an ancient treaty with aliens? Is this stuff being stored here, or "off-world?" Has it been stolen by common criminals?

In today's society, is gold and silver still considered a "precious" metal anyway? We are way past the bronze age!

Is this something thats been in the works since the creation of the Fed, the repeal of the gold standard, the plundering by the conquistadors?

Too many questions, not enough answers!

The thread is fine. We allow the same topic to be posted in BAN as well as one other forum. It's the only exception to having the same thread in multiple forums.
