I'm sorry the actual 'snippet' is so short.. not much else to go on.

I've done a search for any other MSM's running this story, but at the moment it seems that it is only this channel 3 news item stuck onto youtube that is the main supply.

I find it incredible. As much as it is a great idea, I just can't help but think "uh-oh.. what's gonna go wrong?"

What could possibly be the reasoning for this?
Blood doesnt even last that long, say as long as plasma does.
How come this really makes me think of the HBO series True Blood and the vampire drink?

If blood can be grown like this is can be grown in the field where it's needed the most. Imagine a field hospital being able to create their own blood.
