BNP Leader's Car 'Hit Protester'

The BNP leader Nick Griffin has been pelted with eggs by protesters shouting abuse at him prior to a news conference. It is also claimed that a protester has been taken to hospital after being struck by Nick Griffin's car.

Protesters who pelted BNP leader Nick Griffin with eggs have claimed his car hit a demostrator, who has been taken to hospital.

Mr Griffin was forced to abandon a news conference outside Parliament after disruption by Unite Against Facism.

The group alleges a car, driven by a BNP member, "drove at" two protesters and one of them was hit.

The newly-elected MEP for the North West of England, arrived on College Green in front of Parliament with fellow BNP MEP Andrew Brons just after 2.30pm.

I think this is going to be the norm from now on, but i can't say i blame the protesters.

What worries me is that you will start seeing the more extreme supporters of the BNP turning up at these events for more than just moral support. We will then see some major clashes.

Waste of a good egg if you ask me.
