The thing is, it was settled, the US took us to the WTO to complain and the WTO sided with us, so the US government just said they weren't going to listen to the WTO, and tariffed the crap out of us on the lumber.

Well I see the point about the lumber. It seems a bit childish to take it to an outside authority and then when that authority disagrees, you just circumvent their descision. If you are going to act like that, why waste everyones time by taking it to the WTO?

Come on guys. Let's be civil and supportive of our neighbors.

It's easy to forget that Canada is part of North AMERICA. So 'Buy American' could certainly mean Canadian too.
