US spaceflight review suffers attack of the Twitters Unwashed masses invited to web party

www.theregister.co.uk

The US's Obama-prompted human spaceflight review has opened its doors to public participation. A dedicated website allows the unwashed masses to keep tabs on the independent committee's ruminations and chip in their two bits' worth.

The site invites comments and suggestions which might help chairman Norman Augustine and his "blue-ribbon panel of experts" decide, for example, whether NASA's Constellation Program is indeed the way to go.

I thought this might appeal to several members in here. In the additional link is their site were you could twitter with them or flckr, it has some interesting information and a breathe of fresh air were you could interact with other members.

Although there has been much speculation about the Lunar mission, if its going to happen or it isn't, its interesting to read what various people are writing about from around the world.
Peace.

Let people know. The first public meeting is in DC on Wed, June 17, 2009 from 9am-5pm. For more information visit

www.nasa.gov...

If you attend that meeting you will have the prime oppurtunity to ask about any moon or mars images.

I wonder how long it will take before some nut-ball or kid gets on there and starts either spamming or making nasty posts accusing NASA of things and they shut down the feed?

Given who they are, he or she would most likely be banned after the first spam
