Avatar wont show and signature pic isnt appearing anymore!!

I know theres a new photo uploading page and i've done that. I uploaded the avatar I want and clicked apply as avatar and everytime I see any post i've made it just shows up blank? Also, The signature pic used to work just fine when I put [ IMG ]picturelinkpostedhere.com[ /IMG ] but all of a sudden it stopped working. Have we changed to html? Any help would be great cuz I don t understand why nothing is working for me anymore.

Oh, and just to add this again, YES I UPLOADED THE AVATAR TO MY PHOTO UPLOAD AND CLICKED TO MAKE IT AVATAR. ITS NOT WORKING!!

hmmm, your avi shows up on your profile..perhaps it has something to do with the server switch going on..
ok..nope, cause my avi is up..dunno

Yes, I noticed it wasnt only me having the problem... there are a few people who's avatars either have the little red "X" in a box or no avatar at all... and of course your avatar is what makes you unique... makes you stand out.

Any further help on this subject from a mod would be awesome! Not just the avatar though, why isnt the [ IMG ] code working for my signature?

Clicking that stupid "apply as avatar" button doesnt work. You still have to go into your profile and paste the new location of your image into the avatar field like before.

OH really? Hmmm, let me give that a shot real quick, brb...

your avatar needs to be hosted by ATS in "video & media." As for your siggy, mine is hosted in photobucket as well. So, I'm not really sure

You're using the wrong URL for your signature.

Try this:

Ok, so you have to UPLOAD ur picture to here, set it as avatar AND put in address for it to show, I get that now. I dont get why its not "GIFfing... its sposed to be animated...
(I know, I just love to complain, dont I?)

And as for the signature address, dont I have to put in [ IMG ] i574.photobucket.com... [ /IMG]
? Cuz I tried it both ways, with BB code and HTML.

I canty for the life of me get my signature to work anymore.
Obviously its possible cuz the guy above me has one on.
I used HTML code, BB code and just the address by itself. Nothing is working@!!@!!@!@!

Apparently you cant use [ IMG ] as BB code on here, its been changed to [ ATS ] and [ /ATS] (Minus the spaces of course.)
So if you want to have a signature photo, your code would look like this:

[ ats ]http://i574.photobucket.com/albums/ss182/eaglemoney7/finx2.gif[ /ats]

(once again, take out the spaces before and after ats.)

Everything seems fixed other than my avi strobing!! Thanks guys!!

Well it appears you all have it worked out, but for other who don't and read this thread follow the instructions in the video below. You can pause the video for each step. It is very easy to do.

Did you watch the video Sauron posted in the comment above you? I believe the problem is your avatar is not hosted on the ATS media site but is instead hosted at www.meteoritesplus.com. Off site avatar hosting no longer works.

I have the same problem.

I can see your avatar though.

Non living, here is the solution to your problem, as simple as I can put it:

1. Upload your avatar to ATS photo upload.
2. Click the "set as avatar" command in the upload's screen
3. Open the picture, right click the picture itself and go to properties
4. Copy the web address thats about halfway up the properties page
5. Paste it into your ATS account settings under avatar URL and submit it.

The photo has to be uploaded onto ATS first and then you have to get the address from the ATS upload in order for it to work... REALLY confusing I know.
If you wanted to post a picture in your signature or elsewhere, simple type: [ ATS ]http://pictureswebsitegoeshere[ /ATS ] but take out the spaces inbetween the [ and the ATS's.
Might sound confusing.... but read it over a few times, you'll get it!
