This is by far on of the most intense storms I have witnessed. Non-stop thunder, and the lightning is too bright and intense to even see.
Here is what NYC is going through right now.

Disclaimer: I'm a theist but not of the Abrahamic faiths. I have minor biblical scholar and scriptural skills. Also I am not a scientific/legal or
medical expert in any field. Beware of my Contagious Memes! & watch out that you don't get cut on my Occams razor. All of this is my personal
conjecture and should not be considered the absolute or most definitive state of things as they really are. Use this information at your own risk! I
accept no liability if your ideology comes crashing down around you with accompanying consequences!
Explanation: I know that New York has many skyscrapers and that may just account for an increase in strikes but that storm seems so intense as to be
targeted. Anybody know if HAARP was being used/tested in the past few hrs?
Personal Disclosure:
Edited to add that the yubanet.com... link refers to CA and NOT to NY. But its nice to see that individual states might be being targeted one after
the other!
Also wondering if anybody has any knowledge of recent geomagnetic anomalies or significant changes occuring in NY state?

Wow that's some real dense area for all that lightning. I've never been there but it does seem a bit out of the ordinary personally. War of the
Worlds anyone?
Joking aside, nobody was struck were they?

It is interesting that New York and Portland both had extremely strong electrical storms in the same week. It wasn't a seasonal storm here in the
northwest. Very unusual weather.

Wow, I'm looking at the chart, 116 strikes per minute, that's pretty crazy, I've never been in a storm like that before, 2 strikes per second or
so.

Seeing as the article says that it's a record;
"Lightning touched down a record 6,257 times in the 24-hour period ending at 6:00 a.m. on June 4, 2009"
I wouldn't quite describe it as normal, but it is crazy to me that you have those kind of storms.

Hit Chicago HARD yesterday. Same intensity- never seen the like.
I, too, wondered about HAARP firing up- next, Chemtrails with H1N1 vaccine.
Not funny, I know, but multiple high-altitude aircraft passes during strom, when O'Hare was essentially shut down.

Its just typical thunderstorm to me. Yeah the thunder seemed a little louder and it was wierd seeing somewhat sunny day and lightning though. But i
wouldnt call this a conspiracy.

I saw this moving to the south of me last night, on it's way to the sea...
If you look at the map of strikes, it seems that Jersey is completely covered in strikes.
Is God finally ridding our Republic of our waste dump? If so, will Cali soon be following???
Just kidding... don't get so huffy there paisano...

I don't know. Record thunderstorms in multiple locations, all in the same week. Seems a little bit fishy to me. Especially considering that we are
in a solar minimum right now. I was under the impression that crazy weather like this is supposed to happen during the maximum.
