Online Secrets Exposed- Confession of a murderer?

Surfing I happend apon this site and found this entry kind of disturbing. Here it is:

Somewhere in the early 70's I've killed my 1st. Now over 30 y. later the count is 23. There is no crime I have not done except those things with childs or animals. Since a couple of years I live a totally different life. I become a citizen, amember of sociaty. Should I tell the things I've done?

Reading this at first I thought this was someone messing around for some shock value, but why wouldn't he admit to the kids if he were lying for the hell of it? Anyway, it's a large site and I'm sure that others have posted equally disturbing stuff.

Yeah, I read a few of them...The one you noted was a whole lot more severe then the others. It could be legit...Someone came to that website feeling guilty, watched for a bit, and then put out what they did. It probably made them feel better, but not 100%...Which, if true, they will never feel again.

Sounds like he should be traced down and interviewed by the police. If he is a killer it should be brought to light.

I've killed a lot of people. Some escort girls, in an apartment uptown, some homeless people, maybe five or ten, an NYU girl I met in Central Park. I left her in a parking lot, near Dunkin' Donuts. I killed Bethany, my old girlfriend, with a nail gun. and a man ... Last week I killed another girl with a chainsaw-I had to, she almost got away. There was someone else there, maybe a model, I can't remember but she's dead too. And Paul Owen. I killed Paul Owen with an ax, in the face. His body is dissolving in a bathtub in Hell's Kitchen. I don't want to leave anything out here...I guess I've killed 20 people, maybe 40-I have tapes of a lot of it. Some of the girls have seen the tapes, I even...well, I ate some of their brains and I tried to cook a little.
