I don't see any problem with the horns, it's part of the culture and everyone seems to be having fun.
They don't kill the atmosphere they create one.

Are you joking? They OBLITERATE the atmosphere. The same incessant drone for 90 minutes. You cannot hear the fans, the chants, the cheers, the singing, all the sounds that create a good football atmosphere - all you can hear is the mindless noise of a beehive.

P.S. they are not part of the culture at all. They have only been used for about 10 years, by only a few South African teams, and they are made in China. Please don't be so moronic to play the "culture card".

GO AUSSSSSSSSSSSIES!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully Manuel Neuer has a bad game...he would have to be one of the best goalkeepers ever, and he's still only like 21 or something

Go Tim Cahill!!!!!!!

Don't be so moronic to think you your little facebook group makes a difference you really think it will? Just grow up and deal with it. They are fun, people are having fun, and it IS a part of the game over there. You are just moaning for the sake of moaning . Just relax and enjoy and get over yourself, you always have a mute button.
How boring would life be if everyplace was the same, so you can't hear a bunch of drunks singing INGERLAND INGERLAND, it's no great loss.

Anyway, GO AUSSIES!

They were saing earlier that it was doubtfull they'd ban the horns unless people started using them as a missile.

Heres to someone throwing one sooner rather than later then.

I'm not that fussed about them, but it would be nice to be able to hear the different fans chanting.

Or someone needs to bring something that drowns out the sound of the horns.

Agreed

We need to change the strategy, so hopefully we can survive til half time. We need to stop trying the off side trap, Germany are killing us there

And to make things worse, we were just denied a penalty from a blatant handball!!

How the gell can he have misse that???

Cahills was never a sending off.

It was a yellow - there was no intent there whatsoever.

Germany's winning margin has been dictated by that decision.

Having said that, two of my German forwards have scored, so I'll take the points there

I don't think the result was ever in doubt, but Cahill shouldn't have been sent off... Gutted man.

4-0 to Germany so far.....i actualy feel quite sorry for the aussies.

I'm not totaly clued up on the way these groups work, if you lose, does that mean you are out, or can you redeem yourself in another match?

That was ridiculous, we had one, maybe 2 penalties overlooked!!!

This is seriously BS....the Germans have had favoratism all game!!!! Its a conspiracy I tell you!!!

I hope they overturn Cahills red card....that wasnt even worth a yellow, he tried to pull out of it....sometimes soccer is too soft

The referee can go get.....

I'm not so sure after just seeing the re-run of that tackle, that could have easily done some serious injury.

I'll hold judgement a little while longer though.

How many points do you lose in your fantasy team for getting a player sent off?

Germany looked very good deserved the win. thats how to play football, England could learn a lot.

Here's the tackle that earned the red card, hopefully it will stay up there long enough before it's taken down like the others.

I'm still in two minds, but it was most definately worthy of a yellow, he took his legs out well after he'd cleared the ball. The fact that he didn't go in with the studs makes me think he might have been pulling out of the tackle though. Hard one.
