Ponerology and Pathocracy Problems in America

I thought this needed posting and indeed explains why there
is seemingly a lack of conscience in this country.
Many things used to be considered wrong. Stealing, greed, torture, etc.
Now they are encouraged, overlooked, and yes even rewarded!
We really are on a steep slope if we think it's all okay.
Karma is not just the name of a keyboard....

Political Ponerology: A Science on The Nature of Evil adjusted for Political Purposes

The actions of [pathocracy] affect an entire society, starting with the leaders and infiltrating every town, business, and institution. The pathological social structure gradually covers the entire country creating a “new class” within that nation. This privileged class [of pathocrats] feels permanently threatened by the “others”, i.e. by the majority of normal people. Neither do the pathocrats entertain any illusions about their personal fate should there be a return to the system of normal man.

…my work has shown me that the vast majority of people want to do good, to experience good things, think good thoughts, and make decisions with good results. And they try with all their might to do so! With the majority of people having this internal desire, why the Hell isn't it happening?

Imagine - if you can - not having a conscience, none at all, no feelings of guilt or remorse no matter what you do, no limiting sense of concern for the well-being of strangers, friends, or even family members. Imagine no struggles with shame, not a single one in your whole life, no matter what kind of selfish, lazy, harmful, or immoral action you had taken. And pretend that the concept of responsibility is unknown to you, except as a burden others seem to accept without question, like gullible fools.....
In other words, you are completely free of internal restraints, and your unhampered liberty to do just as you please, with no pangs of conscience, is conveniently invisible to the world. You can do anything at all, and still your strange advantage over the majority of people, who are kept in line by their consciences will most likely remain undiscovered.
How will you live your life? ...
The presence or absence of conscience is a deep human division, arguably more significant than intelligence, race, or even gender.

How else is one supposed to live? You've got any named superstar in sports using steroids, lawmakers getting indicted for bribes they received (which compromises the whole "system" IMO), people who already have millions of dollars ripping people off to make MORE millions of dollars, kids cheating in school because those at the top of their class do it and they get awards for it, woman sleeping with 100 different men due to no self control and having no clue who the father is to their child yet we live in a society where they are dubbed the "victim" of all those "predatory men", men who make a child then leave because they're allowed to and all they get is a monthly "fine", and pretty much anybody with even a remote sense of authority abusing it for their own personal gain. And lets not forget a vast amount of peole on "welfare" who give birth to tax deduction after tax deduction so they never have to pay for anything which leaves the impression on their kids that they are entitled and therefor never have to work.

As someone who used to believe in karma, I eagerly awaited the day when all those people's fortune would turn on them and they would be revealed for the cheats they are and condemned by society so that all the people who did things "the right way" could get the honest recognition they deserve. However, the sports star gets a slap on the wrist (they take a fraction of his pay), the lawmaker is in the news for awhile then decides to go on a reality show (which should not be convered in a legitimate society), the people who messed up everyones money get more money from the people they ripped off so they can fix their own books, the kids that cheated are NOW the future and fall into any one of the aforementioned categories, the woman gets paraded around on tv as the biggest victim in the history of the world when the real victim is the man who lost the parental lottery, the men leave the impression on their child that there is no accountability in their society so they can do what ever it takes to get what they want, and the abuse of power worldwide continues.

Everyone goes about their business though, because "thats just the way the world is" or they say welcome to the "real" world. When did that become acceptable? When did everything going wrong become acceptable? It is truly disgusting when personal accountability and morality are painted as concepts only an idiot would believe in. Anyone who expresses said behavior is taken advantage of time and time again.

Barring some kind of divine intervention or the resurgence of a legitimite natural predator, its going to be like this until it can no longer sustain itself. It will continue until people are actually evil. I don't like the word as I feel it is relative and a propagandist term at best but they will legitimately have no concern about the wellbeing of the species, putting their own greed above the species survival even members that belong to their own bloodline will be considered a potential threat to things they could be owning. Yes, while trickle down economics is an absurd assertion, trickle down demoralization is an apparent fact. I said it recently to a friend, "Their values have become our own". I think their's some truth to this. Not as an absolute, but in general. Very sad, indeed. Not only do the majority fall in line. They co-conspire to keep the evil spreading, by doing nothing about it. We all say not to judge. It's the new spiritual belief, that actually works against progression. To think that the only way we can learn is from first doing as much wrong as it takes us to dig ourselves in a huge pit, is foolish. Whatever happened to learn by example? Still think on your own, but learn all the same! If we allow everyone to self-collapse, they will drag the rest down, down, down in the process. Somethings not right here. This can't go on for too much longer, without a collapse in the very essence of our civilization and humanity.

The 20th Century alone witnessed an estimated 140 million war deaths and another 16 million from genocide. Mass starvation kills millions in an era when there is plenty enough food to feed the world. And not coincidentally, in the world today 40% of the world’s wealth is held in the hands of 1% of its inhabitants, while the bottom 50% owns only 1% of the world’s wealth. We also began to realize that the profiles that emerged also describe rather accurately many individuals who seek positions of power in fields of authority, most particularly politics and commerce. It describes how people whom Altemeyer would refer to as Authoritarian Leaders, Lobaczewski would describe as evil, and others would merely call psychopaths or sociopaths have convinced most Americans into accepting an economic system that benefits only the rich, at the expense of everyone else. They call this system the “Free Market”, and its detractors often refer to it as “Free Market Fundamentalism”. If anything is to change, and if we are ever to end this ridiculous 'war' against an abstract noun, two things are needed. First, we need to take steps towards removing political psychopaths from office, making it impossible for psychopaths to achieve any position of political, corporate, or economic power. Giving psychopaths power and influence and expecting them to be adequate leaders is like expecting a blind man to drive a bus. Psychopaths are color blind when it comes to issues having to do with the well being of humanity. Second, we must come to grips with our true history, and what is really behind the spin of the current 'war on terror'. We are arresting, torturing, and murdering innocent people along with patsies whose controllers get away with everything because they operate behind the scenes. Without ponerology, things will only get worse.
