I would simply like to know which prophecies the Bible stated that cam true since they gave specific names of leaders and people like you said? simply asking as a quest for knowledge not to hate on your set of beliefs

This was interesting.

I have some [SNIP] experiences that are very hard to describe in any other way than "spiritual" or "magical", but I do have to consider that it's my own subconsciousness that's playing tricks on me, and that are eventually explainable by science. That's usually how it goes.

I seriously hope that the great "enlightenment" is coming in some form. I think agnosticism is liberating in the way that you can abandon all these crazy theories and not to have any kind opinion on matters that we don't yet really understand and freely create such a world we want to live in.

2012? haha. know what it is and why the mayan calender ends there? well easy, it means at the end the calendar resets because the galaxy has done 1 full revolution, aka, a galactic year has passed, so, 2012 is nothing less than the birthday of the milky way in galactic years!

I'm being sarcastic but that statement is still the truth, what is the actual point in discussing 2012? If the world has predicted to end in 2012 for thousands of years do you think there would actually be a way to stop it? No of course not because it is supposedly "fate".

Second, if the world ends, everyone will be dead so no one will even know about. (Please dont bring spiritual stuff into this, in my eyes if the world ends it means it GONE, no place for life, no place for spirits.)

And if you REALLY want to argue about it, why not leave it to the day? then whoever was right can be proud and smile that they were right in an arguement 3 years earlier...

I agree that that the end of the calender is probably just that whats the use for a new one when the old one lasts 26000 years? But we can sign on from BEYOND :O lol But your right isn't that the whole point. What do you want to prove there is a rapture so what you going to repent that day? OR prove there is a Apocalypse in 2012 so you can tell who ever is coming that you always believed. Well I think if they are powerful enough to do either of those they would already have you judged by then . Actually, I think that the term "end of the world" is quite naive in itself. I would rather talk about the extinction of human beings. Humans are animals, and species disappear, only that people are tough as cockroaches. I don't see that happening in a long time.

Maybe God will get bored one day one decide to wipe us all out (joke)

The only reason I think somethings gonna happen in 2012 is because so many people believe it, someones probably going to do something stupid and "bring about" some kind of disaster to "make it come true"

imo i dont think 2012 is anything that has to do with earths natural ending i imo think that the govt is going to use this # to further their control on the populace i mean look at all the biblical prophecies and # i mean if they wanted to rule without any opposition all they would have to do is appeal to the religious faction of the world and they wouldnt say a word except tell you how their bible was right

thats why its soo hyped they want people to believe it then the govt can pull some stuff and then everyone would fall into their grips even more

This whole 2012-phenomenon is based on the Mayan calendar and a certain persons (Terrence McKennas') interpretation of it. It's been many things: apocalypse, global awakening, alien invasion.. i guess nobody knows what's eventually going to happen. Maybe nothing. It's just that the calendar comes to an end, it's an cosmic cycle making a full circle. Something is probably going to happen, but it's not going to happen in flash; we are talking about 10's of thousands of years here, so it's happening all the time. Like now.

I think it's all up to us. We can start to live like true cosmic citizens, ecologically, healthy and tolerant. I guess it's necessary for our survival.

About the government.. i certainly believe that certain parts of the power structure don't want people to wake up, because this would mean a loss of power. I think that these people work on lower levels, and greatly underestimate the human being. But they didn't cook this up. Why would they? I think that's one thing about fascism of all kind; they so believe in their own superiority that it will eventually destroy them, because they don't see people as one.

We are all family, sisters & brothers. We are all human. What you do to others you eventually do to yourself. Separation from others is an illusion..
