Judge Tosses Telecom Spy Suits

A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed lawsuits targeting the nation’s telecommunication companies for their participation in President George W. Bush’s once-secret electronic eavesdropping program.

In his ruling, U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker upheld summer legislation protecting the companies from the lawsuits.

Change we can believe in how much did the republican party pay along with the democrat party to cover this up? How much did the judge get to just flat out dismiss it? EFF says they will appeal the ruling its a consititutional matter and there going to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals so they should win on appeal here.

I see a fire fight possibly brewing over this in the near future theres only so much cover up that can take place before its going to go from words to shots fired. Is this the final calm before the storm?
