Okay I started playing around with this route of producing a really inexpensive meal about 6 or 7 years ago, basically when starting to live on my
own. It feeds two to four people on up to $6!!
I start out by preheating the oven to 400 or so; I then take a pyrex baking pan 2" deep and fill them with my desired amount porkchops; and get this,
the swimmer part, I open a can of cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup and pour it over the chop until they re completely covered, as they're
swimming in the sauce, once the oven has been preheated throw the pan in for 40-45 minutes, and presto done. *muah* like momma never used to make
Also boil up on some corn and peas and you've hit over three main food groups in under $6.
