Mum saw nothing wrong with starved girl

THE mother of a severely malnourished seven-year-old girl told her husband not to be silly when he suggested she may die, a jury has been told.

The New South Wales Supreme Court was told the girl was a skeletal 9kg at the time, and had been sleeping for all but four hours a day.

The autistic girl died within the week from the combined effects of malnutrition and dehydration.

I for one am appalled by this news. What's worse is that versions of this could be happening without ever being published in the media thus forever being kept in secret by the perpetrators.

What kind of sick freak lets a child starve to death let alone starve.
She was 9kgs for pete sacks.
