Your "Top 5" Television Characters

No 5 - Another vote for Michael J fox as Alex Keaton...I was a bit young to fully understand the point but it is a testament to the man that he rings through to me all of these years later...

No 4 - Another vote for Will Smith as the Fresh Prince. The man is genius.

No 3 - Alf. I was a huge fan.

No 2 - Dr. Gregory House. He is arguably number one for me as I think his charchter is brilliant...but I gave the nod to the...

...Number 1 all time television charachter is The Janitor from Scrubs. Brilliant...just brilliant. I don't even want to know his name as he is The Janitor...

I have five more:

Mr Spock of Star Trek: Leonard Nimoy created an icon with this character. I've been watching the old series lately and am surprised at how well it has held up.

Blackadder: Why this character has not appeared yet has baffled me. Rowan Atkinson has a field day with this wonderful and sometimes evil character. (Hugh Laurie as the daffy Prince Regent comes in second.)

Louie De Palma of Taxi: A rotten person who sometimes shows he has a heart. Perfectly played by Danny DeVito.

Morticia Addams (previously mentioned by others) as played by character actress Carolyn Jones made the show such the classic it is. She had a lot of fun with the character, and it is too bad the show only lasted two seasons.

Buffy Summers played by Sarah Michele Gellar is one of the few very memorable characters on TV. Fleshed out perfectly, Ms Gellar took a one note character created on the big screen and made it a mainstay for seven seasons.

I do enjoy Blackadder (and I cannot stand Mr. Bean). For anyone who likes witty comedy ("A Fish Called Wonda" style wit) and hasn't seen this, pick it up on DVD (or try to catch it on BBC America)... You won't be disappointed. And yes, you'd definitely see Hugh in a much different role, hehe....

Danie Jackson - Stargate SG1; I have a thing for smart guys with glasses.

My Top 5! Had to do a little brainstorming.....

1. Fonzi...The Fonz...Arthur Fonzerelli. Ayyyyyyy!
2. James T. Kirk....the original...forget about the others...For the longest time on Sunday afternoons I would never miss Star Trek in syndication.
3. Junk Yard Dog....Mid South Wrestling....Once again lazy Sunday afternoon entertainment.
4. Daisy Duke....always watched Dukes of Hazzard.
5. Stone Cold Steve Austin.....wrestling hasn't been the same since Stone Cold and The Rock left the scene.

Walter, Fringe - Walter is the only real reason to watch this X-Files wannabe show. One minute, he's unravelling the mysteries of the Universe, the next, he wants a sandwich or is fascinated by heated car seats...

Sheldon, Big Bang Theory - While the whole cast and premise are great, Sheldon makes the show.

George, Seinfeld - Without George, there's no reason to watch this show, even with Kramer.
