First A Jellyfish, Now A Dragonfly... Giant Crop Circles Just Get Weirder
www.dailymail.co.uk
A dragonfly the size of a dragon has landed in a farmer's field - in the second astonishing animal-style crop circle to appear this week.
The intricate 150ft insect pattern appeared overnight in a barley field near Yatesbury, Wiltshire, just days after a jellyfish design was mysteriously
cut into crops in Oxfordshire.
But now the arrival of the dragonfly suggests these two designs may herald a summer of crop circles highlighting environmental issues.

Jellyfish and Dragonflys! This one is a work of art also! Very intricate patterning work in the wings especially!
While this crop circle is not as large as the most recent Jellyfish, the details in it are amazing! Kudos again!
This could be to reflect the status of the world at the moment with its financial, political and more importantly, environmental problems...or ?
The dragonfly, like its jellyfish predecessor, may be part of an upsurge of crop circles ahead of a 'cataclysmic' event foretold for 2012, some
believers think...
...but the fact that many appear on ancient 'ley lines' leads others to believe they carry a mystical meaning.
Mr Alexander, who has been studying crop circles with his wife for 15 years, added: 'People believe they will increase in frequency up to 2012 where
there will be some kind of cataclysmic world event.'

Man Made? Not simply put like that...no.
Not with boards and ropes...
Two more writeups!
Is crop circle alien warning?
A SECOND mystery crop circle found in Britain within a matter of days could be an extra-terrestrial message to save the planet.
The remarkable creation of a dragonfly was found in a farmer's field in Yatesbury, Wilts — just days after a jellyfish formation was spotted in
Oxfordshire.
Now crop circle enthusiasts believe the intricate designs could be a warning to the human race to save the planet.

Here is a link to some interesting information relating to dragonfly symbology. Dragonfly
Symbology
The Dragonfly symbolizes Illusion and dreams.
Dragonfly is the power of light. The dragonfly inhabits two realms: air and water and the influence of both these elements will be felt by Dragonfly
people. They will be emotional and passionate during their early years (the influence of water) and more balanced with greater mental clarity and
control in as they mature (the influence of air).
Dragon=DNA. Fly=Ascension of Consciousness

artistically speaking I liked the jellyfish better...
As to looking for a meaning... then let me point out the circles in the body... I'm no expert but it looks to me like the patterns within those
smaller circles are trying to convey a message of some type

Crop circles never cease to amaze me, brilliant works of art, and communication. What a way to appeal to both our left and right brains in such
detailed symmetry.
I wonder what each different notch in the circles of the body mean. So cryptic.

Does this one look look more amateur than the Jellyfish one to anyone?
It seems to me that some people saw the jellyfish and thought they could do something similar. The outline of the crop as well as straight lines look
sloppy imo.

Simply breathtaking! The detail and size is amazing.
"The dragonfly is a reminder that when our deeper thoughts rise to the surface we must pay attention - there are lessons to be learned, and we are
also reminded that what we think is directly proportionate to what we "see on the surface." ...In short, our thoughts (even the deeper ones that we
might not be as in-touch with as we are with our conscious thoughts) are responsible for what we see in our lives - in our physical surroundings."
I am anxious to find out what further meanings come out of studying this one.

As goofy as this may sound, the abdomen on the dragonfly one looks like a planet rotating and getting closer to the observer, with land masses
visible...
beautiful work though, whoever made them!
