I started to post this on a conspiracy board, but I'm sure it is all just a coincidence.

That being said, I also think it is downright ghoulish and disgusting that someone seeks to profit from death and tragedy.

As investigators seek to unravel the fate of Air France flight 447, there’s been speculation online about an unusual domain name registration made some two years prior to this week’s plane crash, flight447.com.

If that's true, I wouldn't take Flight 449 either.

This outfit also registered most "flightN.com" domains where 0 < N < 1000, so there's nothing to this. Almost any flight 1-1000 has a domain reserved by these ambulance chasers.

I am not sure it is a coincidence, since the domain name redirects to the other website!

It really is downright horrible that someone uses an event like this to gain publicity! It's just wrong.

It's not a coincidence, but an attempt by this organization to capitalize on any incidents.

Success., inc.

23852 pacific coast highway unit 720

Phone: +1.013104880403

These people own the domains for many Flight[x].com sites. For example:

Flight448.com whois
Flight450.com whois
Flight500.com whois
Flight643.com whois
Flight1000.com whois

All registered by Success, inc.

I agree. He can say he "feels bad for that flight" but why would someone register so many flight numbers unless you want eventually one of those
names to be in the headlines so that if someone searches for it, you can hawk your movies or whatever. It's beyond bad taste.
