Whatever happened to civil disobediance?

Most Americans today are just trying to survive. Those who aren't completely mind numbed by a sorely lacking educational system and a diet of mindless mass media entertainment may be informed on the hot political issue of the moment and be disturbed about the downward spiral this nation is currently in. The vast majority still keep voting for the same empty suits on both sides of the aisle, and towing the line no matter how ridiculous things get.

I do not think there is any real chance in america anymore of that, unless tptb want it for sure.

It was tasered, beaten, ridiculed then poked at with a sharp stick and is now heavily medicated and can be found religiously watching Jerry Springer, Montel and Fox News.
