Oh my head hurts , i cannot believe I read all this for nothing :x

So did he actually send you the original photo, or is that another file you checked out?
Pardon my ignorance , I am not especialist in this area.

But could it be that you were already planning ahead when you asked for the photo of the phone? Expecting them to have identical watchamacallit files? hehe
Pretty clever if it was!

Anyways can you explain it in a lame way so non experts like me can understand what this file you checked is?

The top left area of that image is of the inside of a car door. What kind of Car do you have? I can check ebay motors and match it up perfectly.

my money is on it being a reflection off of the window.

That is pretty cool. Looks like something off transformers! I don't think it is anything in the sky, because it is too large and doesn't seem to affect the clouds in any way. It also appears to blur out the electric lines in the bottom right, so it would have had to been almost in the parking lot with you!

Some type of digital effect. I don't think you can have "double exposure" on a cell phone camera, or any digital camera? There are plenty of other effects that can happen in processing the image digitally though.

Transformers came to my mind as well heh...

s61.photobucket.com...

I had to create an account to jump in here.

What I have done is simply flipped the image upside down.

What you are looking at is the back window of a car with a very tinted roof. You can see the edge of the window at the top. This also explains the slight bending of the image. The lines of the back seat and headrests can clearny be seen.

I'm with the upsidedown picture of a cars back window, if you look closely, you can make out what appears to be a Minnesota Vikings hoodie on the lower right.

What if it were a photo of a halogram?

That would explain the photo data, but, who would have created the halogram? and for what purpose?

I have seen strange images in the sky and would have thought I was going nuts except my dog saw it also and started growling.

Sorry, but I do not for one second believe that this image is a genuine anomaly. No "hologram", just someone with a very, very basic understanding of image editing software that thinks they can pull a fast one.

Myendica

Stop with the nonsense. If you initially said that you were experimenting with an imaging editing software...ok. I don't think that it would be appropriate for this type of forum, but fine. Some of us actually want to understand the truth. Topics such as this do nothing but impede the credibility of those that actually take this matter seriously, and have "real" evidence.

HOAX

Thank you very much.. with so much evidence of his blatant lies can this thread not be closed and the poster banned for hoaxing now?
And we are still wondering why this thread continues on when he has been proven to be lying.
It should be given a hoax tag too imho

I'm sorry, but I don't think this is a sky anomaly - I'm sure hundreds of people would have noticed that if it was. Just looks like a reflection (I know you said it's not, but just sayin'!) or PhotoShop (just sayin' again!) or a camera phone lens problem. I have a digital Samsung camera from 2006 and it takes photos like that also. I noticed this after a trip abroad. My theory is that the airport x-ray scanner messed it up somehow.

OK, I didn't read the replies on this page and I have to agree also - it looks so fake, plain and simple. And yes, I think it is a bit of an uncommon (to put it politely) hobby to take random photos of the sky!

Quite obviously the see-through image is a dashboard of a car. You can even see the steering wheel sort of, to the upper left. The radio or something like that is right of that, and if it is through a window, then the straight line image along the bottom of it all is the window's bottom.

This is a poorly faked image.
