Found this great video, thought you guys would like it.
It apparently was taken on 05/21/09 above Horn lake, Mississippi, somehow reminds me of flares, though their formation is not consistent with flares.

Extract from the video description:



Around 10:30 a formation of lights sit in the sky as helicopters head for it. And towards the end watch as 3 lights appear below them. You get to see one appear out of nowhere. Its amazing thing to see.
