I thought long and hard before posting this here and on my gallery page. A post like this can get a knock on my door. I'm not even a US citizen yet, so I am a little worried about how this may be construed. I don't wanna find out some day that I am on a list somewhere for voicing the opinion of most Americans. After I wrote this New Declaration I realized that both the concerns of the liberals and conservatives are voiced here. And it made me realize that the one thing we all truly care about is this nation. The "issues" are secondary. Liberty is important to us all.

Well, think about this for a second...the Founders, men like Jefferson, and Alexander Hamilton, they were not yet citizens either when the original document was written, and they were in fact flaunting the Crown of England by writing and signing it. And, if you are on a list, many of us are on it too, so you are not alone.

That being said, I would sign this in a minute. Very well written, to the point, and lists all issues. My hat is off you you.

Sadly, what you describe I feel is the ultimate objective. This IS my country, it belongs to Americans and I'll be damned if anyone tries to end it.

15. The Federal Government has created a “Constitution Free zone” extending 100 miles inland from all borders in an effort to subvert the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the land in nearly 2/3 of the Nation.

This itself is an act of war on us Americans. If some slack jawed po po tells me i live in a Constitutional free zone I will show him what a proud American can do to traitors. He will be buried in said zone after I educate him William Wallace style.

When in the course of Human events it becomes necessary to dissolve the paradigms prescribed and carved for the masses, and to establish Truth where the tenets of Honesty are missing, it becomes Our duty to advance the movements of Truth and Liberty, to respect and enforce the Natural Rights of Man that God and Nature have bestowed upon us.

Human history has shown that people are vulnerable to despotism and suffer the most when the veil of secrecy is cast upon them, for it is this veil that hides the crimes and transgressions of leadership, carried out in the name of the People these selfsame leaders and guards are charged to represent.

The Declaration of Independence of the Original 13 colonies dictates that the most heinous of grievances be enumerated.

In keeping with our Founder's wishes, We must now redeclare Our Independence from a Tyrannical and Out of Touch government, as We have been left to it without recourse or representation for some years.

Let it be known the crimes of the Federal Government of these United States of America:

1. The suspension of the Writ Habeas Corpus: Thus allowing that citizen and non-citizen alike be imprisoned indefinitely without charge or trial, without the benefit of counsel, without benefit of examining evidence, and be subject to punishments cruel and unusual.

2. Entangling the nation in foreign conflicts, and engaging in military action without declaration of war: By committing the Armed Forces of the United States, and the National Guard of the Several States to war without legal recourse, without evidence of clear and imminent threat, without clear strategy, and without the means of finance.

3. The Creation of the Department of Homeland Security and the Expansion of Power of the National Security Agency: The creation of institutions of espionage for the purpose of spying on the American people without Due Process of the Law.

4. The Federal Reserve System: The creation of a central banking institution that has resulted in these United States being cast into the abyss of unsustainable and unpayable debt.

5. Members of Congress and other Federal Officials have called for and taken steps to form programs of involuntary servitude.

6. The Federal Government has used the Interstate commerce clause of the US Constitution to restrict the regular flow of goods and services through regulation intended to single out smaller competition. Under this very modus operandi the Federal Government has also ceded National sovereignty to multinational-corporate interests including the international banking and energy industries.

7. The members of the Federal Regime have engaged in the pilfering of public funds for corporate welfare programs opposed by the majority of the People.

8. Members of the Federal Regime have manipulated the vote of the People in regional and national elections to influence the outcome.

9. The Federal Regime has infringed, and continues to infringe on the Right of the People to Keep and Bear Arms provided for under the Second Amendment of the Constitution for the United States of America, in attempts to disarm and subjugate the People.

10. The Federal Regime has hijacked the voluntary military of the United States and engaged in a military propaganda campaign against the People of these United States in order to garner moral support for an illegal, undeclared war, by the insertion of political operatives in nearly all media organizations and publicly funded advertisement.

11. The Federal Regime and Government have redefined and targeted political dissidents and publicly declared them terrorists for political purposes.

12. The Federal Government has engaged in fraud by manipulating economic data, accounting data, and statistical data to misinform the People as to the true nature of the Nation’s finances. Members have taken bribes in the form of “campaign contributions” by private interests in order to influence Public policy.

13. The Federal Government has established a Tax Code System so pervasive and large that it has become, in practice, taxation without representation. Today it threatens to reduce the Nation to poverty.

14. The Federal Regimes and Government have by legislation subjected the American People to unreasonable searches and seizures and gross violations of privacy that the Federal Government would never tolerate in turn.

15. The Federal Government has created a “Constitution Free Zone” extending 100 miles inland from all borders in an effort to subvert the Constitution as the Supreme Law of the land in nearly 2/3 of the Nation.

16. The Federal Government has refused to enforce immigration laws, leaving the Nation vulnerable to waves of illegal immigrants and potential international terrorists.

17. The Federal Government provided for the introduction of the Patriot Act, both original and in revised form, which has caused abuses by local, state, and federal authorities to abound with little to no recourse by law abiding, taxpaying Citizens of the United States. I

In each instance the American People, using their Constitution as a guide, have petitioned the government for a redress of grievances, be it by vote, protest, or direct contact. All attempts, peaceful in nature, have been met with nonchalance, contempt, and answered with further injury to the Rights of the Several States and the People. Such injustices have been suffered patiently.

History shows that such a patient suffering of injustices are natural to the People, as the People are often reluctant to fundamentally change or dissolve the establishments to which they are accustomed. But when these establishments become destructive to the Liberty of the People, it is the said People's right and duty to establish new government, and to provide for new guards to their future security:

Therefore, We the Undersigned Declare our Independence from the Tyranny of the Federal Government of these United States and it’s taxpayer funded civilian regimes. And to this end we pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our Sacred Honor.

You sir are a in my opinion, and the opinion of others here I am sure, a more natural citizen than many that are born here, welcome! I will gladly sign. S&F from me as well.

Starred & Flagged! I like the suggestion that this be added to a video, and put on You Tube. I also like the suggestion that is be circulated via e-mail. Both of them together would be even better, and e-mail with the video in it so they get ramped together.

One other thing if I may suggest, it to digg this. Submit it to dig, and then we can all digg it! From there, add it to facebook also! Maybe someone news outlet will pick up on it, and you have made your point!

A Modern American Declaration of Liberty
TO ALL US CITIZENS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS
In establishing this Republic, our forefathers taught that man made institutions have no authority to grant or deny that which has been established by God. They taught that unalienable rights are endowed upon mankind by God, the Creator, and that governments exist not to grant or deny these rights, but only to protect them. They stated that it becomes necessary in the course of human events from time to time for a people to dissolve themselves from the political bonds that hold them. They recognized and warned that a central, federal government could become too strong and they went to great lengths to ensure that a system was established that was checked within itself by a balance of powers. This system was also the agent of sovereign state governments that made up the union. This was to ensure that the federal government did not, "usurp from the States all government in little as in great things, when all government shall be drawn to Washington as the center of power it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as oppressive as the government from which we separated." Thomas Jefferson.

Such usurpations are upon us. The original Constitution of this Republic, and its intent, has been so grossly misrepresented, misinterpreted and wrested that it is scarcely recognizable. Professional politicians, who have made careers and fortunes out of public service have, in many cases, sold out the interests of the united States to foreign powers and financial interests and their organizations. In other cases, they have usurped and wrested the interests of this people and their liberties on behalf of their own personal ideologies, vain ambitions and carnal appetites. Thereby, the very purpose of the system established by our forefathers (to protect each citizen's life, liberty and pursuit of happiness) has been corrupted.

As a result, we reaffirm the following to be self evident : That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence dictates that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience shows that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing that to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses, usurpations, cover-ups and mis-appropriation, pursuing invariably the same object depicts a design to reduce them to absolute despotism, it is the right of the people, it is their duty, to throw off such government and to provide new guards for their future security.

We are at such a point and juncture in this Republic. The forces moving us toward totalitarianism compel us to reaffirm the constitutional intent of our forefathers and therefore disassociate ourselves from the usurpations, misappropriations, misinterpretations, corruption and humanism which infects our government's elected and appointed officials, and return our government to the more limited form our forefathers established. The recent history of the federal government is one of repeated injury and usurpation leading to totalitarianism.

To illustrate this, let the following conditions speak for themselves : Officials of the federal government (elected and appointed) have :
* Been unduly influenced by "special interests" and "lobbyists" who buy votes to pass law not in the common good.
* Created laws which deny many citizens their property rights for frivolous and ill-defined reasons.
* Created laws infringing on the rights of law abiding citizens to keep and bear arms in direct violation of rights enumerated in the Constitution.
* Created laws to redistribute the wealth of the working citizenry through a heavy, progressive income tax, violating the Constitution.
* Denied the rights of inheritance to citizens of this Republic by imposing heavy inheritance taxes, further redistributing the wealth.
* Undermined our sovereignty by signing treaties allowing arbitration of U.S. citizens' rights by foreign bodies.
* Created "acts" establishing an unconstitutional framework of "Emergency Powers" and "Executive Orders" which are dictatorial in nature.
* Maintained an unwarranted state of emergency since 1933 enabling "Executive Orders", which hang over the head of this people.
* Established a privately owned, central bank that regulates the monetary system of this Republic, in violation of the Constitution.
* Served baseless warrants on, brought siege to, bombed, burned and killed citizens, covering up the same allowing the guilty to go unpunished.
* Weakened the free market through excessive regulation of Agriculture, Manufacturing, Communications and Transportation.
* Dictated to property owners who they can and cannot sell to and excessively taxed capital gains from such sales.
* Created a system of state schools for our children which feeds upon the political interests of those who would deny our liberties.
* Supported the said "state" schools through unconstitutional governmental agencies and reapportioned federal funds.
* Denied our heritage by declaring it unconstitutional to teach the values upon which this Republic rests in our schools.
* Over regulated who employers may hire, how much to pay and the conditions in the work place, further weakening the free market.
* Destroyed the initiative of large portions of the citizenry by maintaining over decades a decadent, fraudulent social welfare system.
* Created laws and agencies to maintain power structures and regulations put in place to implement all of the above and control this people.
* Destroyed the wellspring of tranquillity in our society by legalizing and supporting the wanton killing of the unborn.
* Utilized citizen tax moneys to support base pornography and depictions of decrepit practices in the name of Art.
* Made a mockery of criminal justice by supporting supposed criminal rights over the rights of the injured.
* Housed foreign national armies on U.S. soil to unwarranted purposes in growing numbers, thereby creating a Trojan Horse in our land.
* Colluded with mass media, which is owned by the principals of the central bank, to keep these truths away from the American citizenry.
* Colluded with a "Council on Foreign Relations" and other bodies, whose members represent the power brokers in both major political parties, the principals in the central bank and mass media, to enact laws, regulations, policies and agencies in pursuit of their primary goal which is the establishment of world governance which would destroy the sovereignty of this Republic.

In short, placed this Republic on the road to totalitarianism in a Marxist or Fascist form, pursuing invariably the object of the overthrow of our republican system and its attending free market.

In every stage of these injustices, American citizens who have petitioned for redress or sought to expose the above stated designs have been answered by repeated injury, slander, criminalization, imprisonment and death. A governing body whose character (either knowingly or blindly) is thus marked by every act that would define tyranny is unfit to rule a free people.

It may be argued that these actions were taken by "duly elected" or appointed officials on behalf of the people. To this we say that no governing body, who have taken an oath to protect and defend the constitution, has the right or the authority to alter or change the express directives of that constitution, except by means provided for within the constitution itself. Changes in the name of "States of Emergency", "Executive Order", "Treaties", "Initiatives", "Acts", "Proclamation", "Presidential Directives", "Strategic Alliances" or any other avenue outside of constitutional amendment, properly ratified by the people of the several States, represent a violation of the oath of office and establishes those involved as enemies of "We the People". In addition, no governing body or majority can amend or legislate away the unalienable rights of the people in any case without the original intent of the founders, who themselves broke from a government that was involved in the same, being stimulated in the hearts, minds and actions of the liberty loving segments of the citizenry, as this document atests.

It is therefore apparent, that without immediate reversals of encroachments on our liberties, the time is short before our recourse must be either to resort to the measures our founding fathers took to establish this nation, or lose our liberties and way of life, if not our very lives.

We therefore, appealing to the Supreme Judge for the rectitude of our intentions, do solemnly resolve on our sacred honor, as God fearing Americans, to immediately stand for liberty and our way of life. We the People of this great Republic :
* Demand the immediate removal of all foreign troops stationed on the sovereign soil of the united States of America.
* Demand that the War Powers Act, the Emergency Powers Act and the Federal Reserve Act be rescinded.
* Demand an end to the unconstitutional practice of Executive Orders which carry the force of law, and a rescission of all such Orders.
* Demand any acts and agencies derived from the War Powers, Emergency Powers or Federal Reserve Acts or Executive Orders be dissolved.
* Demand an immediate rescission of the "National Emergency" maintained in this nation by Executive Order.
* Demand the immediate removal of the united States from the foreign body known as the "United Nations".
* Demand an end to all United Nations funding both military programs and all other UN programs.
* Demand a rescission to all acts, and legislation that in any way infringes on the right to keep and bear arms.
* Demand a rescission to all acts, legislation and agencies that exceed the powers described in the constitution according to the 10th amendment..
* Demand that all educational concerns be returned to the several states directly and that all federal involvement in the same cease.
* Demand all local government and educational institutions to disavow the blackmail and social restructuring of federal funds.

* Urge all citizens to become self sufficient as individuals, as families, as localities, as counties and as states.
* Urge all liberty loving citizens to prepare, with God's help, to take the same course of action that our forefathers took in fighting tyranny.

We pledge our lives and honor to the points stated in this document, and the efforts requisite to restore our Constitutional Republic and the Declaration of Independence, Constitution & Bill of Rights which define it.

May Providence bless these efforts, even as he blessed the founders

SO, this is one of those really important things that comes up in our lives. I believe, as I have said before to others, we need a summit. A meeting for people like those that have contributed on this thread.

The meeting could be online, or in real life. WE need to complete a final version of the new declaration and get it signed.

However, I believe we do not need to limit the signatures in this day and age.

The other day I saw an add for an online meeting service, in which anyone attending can throw out ideas and edits for what we would be working on. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

We need to post a finished version to an online Petition service, I have seen them before. Someone on ATS will be able to figure this out, so just continue to STAR and FLAG.

ATS is a place where we can create a new FLAG with STARS.

In this beaurueacratic(such a crappy idea I can't even think how to spell the damn word) society they have created for us, what better way to end it than by declaring it in a document?

What better way to end our 'contract' with the company that is our government, than to create a new contract for ourselves???

It is so easy, I think a lot of people write off this idea because it just seems so easy!

Why not just declare it over with? In a written statement to the world...

Thanks for all the great posts. Please understand that the language I used is broad and encompasses the greatest of these atrocities in the fewest words. A good document is a simple one. That said, by all means go ahead and make a video, print it out, pass it around, read it at open mics, edit as you see fit. But respect the premise and ideals. E-mail this to Congress, and to your state legislators. Again, I've already done what I can in this regard. A non-citizen cannot engage in government quite like citizens can. There is no place to sign. Go ahead and print it up and get it signed in your communities. Send it in. Get something started. E-mail it to newspaper editors, both big and weekly circulars. You'll get a few bites.

On a personal note, it is very interesting to me the reaction I get from my fellow Americans when they realize I'm not a citizen yet. Here on ATS and elsewhere my writings and efforts to bring crucial information to light is often welcome, a far cry from what I receive in my personal life. Most of my friend can't even figure why I do what I do. They even question the validity of my statements because I'm not a citizen(That part is really insulting). Someone recently made me aware that there has been a lot of talk around Reno over my on stage antics and political opinions. Some have even expressed concern that I may be "psychotic". It's not that I can't handle the fire I helped start, it's that sometimes it's nice to find a cool place to sit down and get out of the heat. And for that, thank you ATS.
