UFO coverage on Fox and CNN

It seems the MSM is starting to cover UFO info more and more.
Are they taking their cues from the internet such as Youtube and boards
like ATS because they see how popular the subject is becoming? Or, is there
another reason they are starting to "come out of the closet" about formerly
"tinfoil hat" stories?

edit: As i too had an issue with "how to post videos" and i had many members and forum administrators who helped me out. There is more shame in not asking for help rather than asking for help. You will find many members and staff members who are more than willing to help you out.

Oh I agree , the UFO coverage by the MSM has really increased within the last couple of years. With the UK and France releasing their UFO files to the public. However I think the U.S. is more entrenched when it comes to releasing any information on UFOs. About embeding videos , this really helped me out.. www.belowtopsecret.com...

Thanks everyone for the replies. But, it appears I screwed up.

I followed the youtube link from somewhere else and it listed the date
of the posted video as May 2009. But, I looked around a bit and when
I went back to it and copied the code, I copied the same video but one
that was posted in 2007. It appears the poster from May 2009 just
reposted an older video. So, this was not a new one after all.
Does that make sense?

So, if members can delete their own posts, I'll delete this one
if I can find how to do it.

There is no need to delete the post as only staff members have that ability. By acknowledging the obvious is far more precious than trying to continue a topic which has been talked about.

Keep searching and maintain your thoughts, above all a quick search within the site will and should provide you with feedback if and when an identical or similar post has been mentioned.

However, if an identical post or similar post has been mentioned and you feel you can contribute or expand then its up to you to continue with it and provide the sources.

Great video. I really enjoyed seeing that. Down the typical list, venus, meteorites, birds.... but what was seen by everyone was a saucer.

I think its a wonderful Idea for a post. There is a lot of coverage on the news and television in general as of late on this subject. Keep up the good work. Star & Flag for you.

If you look at the dates of these videos, it looks like there may be about one ufo story on the news each year, so I don't see any reason to say they've been increasing it. All they care about is ratings, so if they see a ufo story that they think will get more people to watch their channel, they will do it.

It seems you know the trick tristar but it doesn't work for me anymore and I don't know
why. I try to embed a video I have on ATS Media and this is the message I get all the
time. Can you explain what is the problem here.



I used to embed videos from ATS Media and worked but not anymore and would like
to know the solution. Same problem with Youtube.

I agree 100% we should be told. Then he said that other countries are pressuring the US. well if that is the case, why don't those other countries just disclose? Well i reckon it is a global plan to slowly lead into the disclosure, so not to frighten people.

I agree its a good idea for a thread but I think people were far more informed about the UFO/OVNI subject back in the seventies:

I am starting to believe that the Govt will not issue any kind of disclosure any time soon.

Unless some major event takes place that for them to deny what they know would make them look so stupid and inept, that they would not be able to deny what they know.

It would have to be something big like a space ship landing in DC as in the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. They would have a hard time sweeping that under the rug.

The question is, in this day and age, why do they continue to refuse to release what they know? What do they think will happen? Panic in the streets? If so, I think they underestimate our ability to understand and deal with the information.
