Makes sense if he was the son of a famous man, and wanted the world to know what it was like to grow up in shadows of a father he will never intimately know himself, but whom is very well known and respected by many in the public.

A father that chose for his only son (born out of wedlock) to be protected, financially supported, and kept secret from those who may want to harm him. A father who knew his own days were numbered, and knew his only son (if it were ever revealed) could be the next target.

'Dreams of My Father' could be exactly as it is titled. Dreams of his father, his father's spirit.

Some of you already know...Malcolm X.

The birth certificate could be an issue, but not as we've been thinking. Maybe it's the birth date. Has anyone looked at birth announcements for six months to a year before? I haven't, just wondering if this has already been covered.

Personally, I think he looks and acts just the same. His voice is similar and speeches are eerily alike. Their pauses, facial expressions, and word pronunciation.

Pull up some speeches on Youtube and compare the two.

I read that whole scenario on one of the websites, including the dates that Malcom X was in Seattle while obama's mom was living there. she would have been agog at meeting someone who embodied everything she believed in. It's certainly a plausible story, and would explain suppressing the BC before the election, but why now? if malcolm x turns out to be his father, and their mannerisms are uncannily alike, who cares? obama was elected and sworn it. there would be no problem with releasing the documents now, so why doesn't he?

I don't get what you're trying to say. what IS the point we are all missing?

as for a black man fooling everybody, it's a done deal. eligibility aside, he got in without being vetted. his background was not explored. his associations were not questioned except superfcially and then dismissed. he has no past except school, with sealed records, and the chicago political machine. so don't be saying it's an outrageous notion. it already happened. we are just asking questions about how it all came about, questions that would have been nice to have been investigated by what we laughingly call our free press.

Well, he would certainly be American. I think the controversy over his father's reign wouldn't fair well in congress. MX is a hot controversial topic among many groups. The feelings behind his reputation are extreme on both (opposite) ends.

Alan Keyes brought this up long before Obama was inaugerated. They laughed at him and swept it under the rug. The Supreme Court has already stated that they will not entertain the notion that Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen of the US. Maybe the Republicans will bring the issue up before the next election, then push an amendment to the constitution through congress. Maybe the GOP's interested in getting their man Arnold up there, and this is their way to get it done. Hmmm?

Alright this one is for all the people that thing the Obama BS err... BC is a bunch of BS. Lets look at it from this angle.

Lets throw out the BC issue and only focus on his college record issue. So lets assume that he is Natural Born and eligible to hold office. He still fights to have his college transcripts covered up and no released. What are your thoughts?

Actually how do you feel now seeing how you assume he is a Natural Born citizen, which he may very well be, how do you feel about him fighting to keep his college transcripts out of the public eye?

I mean Bush's transcripts are posted online for everybody to see, why not Obama? Or is this the change you voted for. This is another major under lying issue.

I think if everybody quit focusing on the BC and focused on his college transcripts this might actually get some steam behind it.

If he was at all concerned about this (in the rare event that he didn't have a certificate) then he would just have one created. I personally think it would be funny if he had it and was just holding on to it. Then when some court orders him to show it he could whip it out and congratulate everybody who wasted time and money on this issue with a job well done.

Ok if that is his 'master plan' then answer the question of why he is spending a lot more than the people who are challenging him? Actually if he wanted too he could have just shown it at the beginning before he spent a dime and been way ahead of where he currently is.

As a side issue the only GOP member who claims to have seen it is the one from Hawaii who says he was shown a birth certificate, and that it met the conditions to have a COLB issued. He refused to answer the question of where the birth certificate was issued.

Good post, I really honestly don't care about where Obama was born, hell he could be born on Mars for all I care! It is all about THE PERSON, not THE PLACE.

Then if you think like that you don't care or think anything about this country i live in.

How many people fought and died for what's wrote on the papers that founded this country.
and you should be thrown right out on ya butt with obama when its all said and done.
especially if i had my say in anything lol

People that say that make me sick sorry folk's.

dang ignorance is overwhelming in this country apparently.

How can you say that for one second and CLAIM to be a American?

I did not loose my father in Vietnam just so i could say oh well its ok now for a fraud to become president.
"he is so super cool folks" look at his pretty dog "" He is the next J.F.K"

sorry folk's that's where i draw the line to this stupidity.

Like Father like son? I'm not seeing it... especially when looking at the amazing speeches Obama has given:

"Don't have any expectations folks, don't ask me about Gaza, lower YOUR sights, cut YOUR hours so your co-worker can keep his job... etc...etc..."

It seems to me there's zero radical spirit in Obama.

They sound just alike! Also, notice the pauses? Their antics are so much alike. Especially compared to Obama's older, less polished and rehearsed speeches.

Close your eyes and listen to the voice inflection and pitch.

OT: I remember a friend from high school, her voice had a certain pitch. First time I met her mother, I was so amazed at how similar their voices were. Her mothers was much deeper, of course. Then, years later I ran into a small boy who's voice caught me by surprise. It was so familiar. Then, his mother walked up, it was my friend. There's something about voices that must be inherited.

I totally agree with you on this.

And if its not one thing its another.

If they did believe him and he showed it, they would move on to the next thing to harass him about.

People are jumping the gun on this guy and havent even gave him time to prove himself yet.

My mother in law keeps going on and on about "Oh he's a muslim I know it. How could they let a muslim in the office."

Its like are you kidding me? Every muslim isnt out to bomb our country thats extremely offensive and close minded and stupid. I dont give two craps if he's a muslim.

Now if hes scientologist....we all need to GTFO THE USA QUICK.

If he is a Muslim then he lied and said he was Christian.

How can you not see that lying is wrong?

posted on May, 30 2009 @ 09:44 PM
Wait you actually have a point, I didnt think about it that way. In that case yeah, if he is actually lieing, not only is it messed up that he lied in the first place, but lieing about something so miniscule as that.

Wow, just the amount of "uh...uhh..." in his speech convinces me.

Of course that would be the number one issue at fox news. Doesn't surprise me at all. We had a brain dead moron in the white house for the last 8 years and people made fun of the stupid hillbilly. And now we have an intelligent person in the white house and they want to see a birth certificate. We'll there are more and more people all over the world who dought that there are any smart people at all being born in the United States. And the only way to prove it is from a birth certificate. And he did supply a birth certificate but it wasn't good enough. Now folks want to see the long form birth certificate. But that won't be good enough either. At least it gives YA'LL something to talk about.

Why didnt John McCain challenge Obama's BC?

First of all, I dont think he actually wanted to win the election. He chose a very inexperienced person for his running mate and was much too laid back in his campaigning, while Hilary and Obama were fighting each other tooth and nail. McCain looked like Bob Dole getting some limelight before retiring and doing Viagra commercials.

Secondly, I think he was expecting to run against Hilary and never expected a virtually unknown candidate to come out on top and he likely did not push the birth certificate issue due to his own claims.

I think if Obama was another rich, white politician, it would have been Hillary to challenge his birth certificate, but she couldnt because the female card doesnt trump the race card.

Why didnt John McCain challenge Obama's BC?

I second what you said. His campaign did resemble Bob's Dole.

I also feel that the reps didn't want to win. People were already tired of eight years of Bush and Reps. Could you imagine after 12 years?

I also feel that the Reps were very aware of how tough the next 4 years were or are going to be.

Why question Obama's BC if they didn't want the position in the first place? And why would a fellow Republican (BUSH) do in another Republican (McCain) by asking for 700 Billion to bail out the bank?

The least they could have done is to have given McCain a heads up so he could have had a good game plan on how to deal with the economy.

This is so pathetic, you racist neo-cons just can't handle the fact that a black man is in office and will try anything to smear his name. These tactics just show what kind of people you are, you should all be ashamed to even show your face in public.

You are trying to create a conspiracy where there is none and where there is absolutely no reason for one to exist. Why would the newspapers, government agencies and who knows else be involved to conspire to lie to the whole world that a little black baby was born in Hawaii? You don't even realize how ridiculous your claims are, I feel sorry for you.

They need to get over it!!!
