North Korea fires short-range missile: report
Posted 25 minutes ago

North Korea has fired a short-range missile off its east coast, the sixth since it staged a nuclear test earlier this week, South Korea's Yonhap news agency said.

The defence ministry declined comment but the news agency's reports of five missile launches earlier this week were later confirmed.

Meanwhile North Korea has promised more "self-defence" measures if the United Nations punishes the communist state with fresh sanctions over its nuclear test.

More to come.

The North Korea abviously do not care about possible diseaster that can come out of this. One little accident and the war is going to rage over there...

What are they testing missle launches for? I mean what is the reason the North Korean's are provoking the world with missle tests? What are they trying to achieve. I don't get it.

They are basically handling the situation the same way a naughty child does.
You tell the child to 'stop doing that ( rocket launch) or you'll get a smack' , as soon as your backs turned they do it again. (rocket test2)
You'll turn to face the child and its all sweetness and smiles ( or gumbles about sanctions and threats about nuclear weapons/wars)
You turn your back again and the childs at it again except this time someones seen him do it (nuke test).
You threaten with going to bed with no supper and then the child does it again , infront of you out of sheer spite (rocket launch 3 , 4, 5 and now 6).

Sooner or later there's gonna be aspankin' followed by tears.

or in this case radioactive fallout and grieving familes and countries.

What's the chances it's not a test but he's actually shooting at the spy aircraft evaluating the area that was a possible nuclear test?

Of course chances are a short range won't hit the high fliers but he would try anyway I'm sure.

That was a nice simple analogy but what do they want to achieve? And why now? The timing of these events are peculiar. I've read the speculation about Kim Jung Il's health and other related possibilities like some kind of coup taking place. But are China and Russia behind the temper tantrums? Provoking a stand-off for some financial or economic gain?

They ran out of food and traded it for nuclear program several years ago. Now their ran out of food again, so they want to be bought again, but nobody offers them anything, economical crisis and such. So N.Korea leaders will have to keep pushing until reaching brink of the war when i guess it would really be better to pay them, or to stop and beg for economical aid earlier. From what i understand about N. Korean system they will indeed keep on with the war posturing.

What does EVERY naughty child want? Attention , and admiration and more sweets/candy.

Same goes for North Korea, they want the world to see that they are NOT TO BE IGNORED. They come out with rocket launches and nuke tests and all the bravado they can muster shouting to the world ' you can not, WILL NOT tell us what we can do'.
The population is so brainwashed into believing that Lil' Kim is the end all and be all that everything he does and says is right.

Besides there is all the background planning by the Elites that will prosper from the arms sales, they are simply itching for another war , seeing as they have been funding both sides for years.
It's like a kid with a gun, full of a sense of false empowerment and immortality, sooner or later he's gonna shoot himself in the foot or failing that his neighbour.

NK have been stockpiling all the weapons they can over the years, sooner or later its gonna topple over into next doors yard and if reports are true , they have a very large army, who are all itching to pull the trigger on tehir guns, besides whats the point of having all the soldiers and hardware if your not going to use it?

Anyway ALL this is ,is a diversionary tactic to focus the peoples attention on NK as TPTB take over the world and bring in all sorts of laws to keep you in servitude.
