money.cnn.com...

Thought it would be fitting to post that link here.

Oil prices rose above 65 dollars and The Dow went up 100 points well 103 to be exact.

If there was no oil, i'm pretty sure there would be no market.

Whats good for the market seems to be not so good for the general public.

Gasoline At $3 A Gallon Could Kill Consumers

www.cnbc.com

Although most analysts expect we will not return to last summer's record-setting high levels, it seems gas prices will climb higher before they pull back. Crude oil is hitting six-month highs and much of the summer driving season still lies ahead.

But it may not take a return to last summer's $5 a gallon gas prices to destroy consumer demand, according to Global Hunter Securities Consumer Strategist Richard Hastings.

Yeah everyone should already know this i am starting to get frustrated with the news pointing out the obvious i think they are behind the curb on this well i guess you have to be if you are liars. I have been telling people for months gas will be over 3 dollars a gallon, though come this summer people will whine and cry about gas as if this a price hike is not predictable give me a break i love how people never want to know the truth about why and how stuff works the just love to be ignorant and complain well i hope i don't run in to these ignorant cry babies at a store, "my gas is to high" sell some crap like the rest of us! I hope gas goes higher just so i don't have to see the stupid SUVs with 20 " wheels, "my car is cool" no you just wasted $2000 on something usless. I guess it is like a magic trick if you are ignorant of the the tick or how its done then then it is amazing but if you know how the trick is done then you are not shocked and you want to share what you know but no one want to listen because they would rather be blissfully ignorant and in awe when the trick is done.

Well, lets take a look at what is driving oil this time.

1. The falling US Dollar, in response to massive increases in the money supply by the Fed makes imported oil cost more.

2. CNBC guest experts say the economy is improving, mostly because the US Government told them to say so, and so the price is moving higher on the expectation of increased future demand.

3. Assuming the price of gas goes to $3.00/gal and the Obama Administration passes the Carbon Cap and Trade Bill currently working it's way through committee, the Heritage Foundation says it will add 75% to the price of gas. That would take $3.00 gas to $5.25 gas. That's ok though because global warming will be improved by .2 degF over the next 100 years.

We are being prepared, quite simply, to be put under socialist rule.

With gas prices nearing $5 a gallon once more, you will now see further losses in car sales and individuals giving up their vehicles to use mass transit to get to work.
The family vacation and weekend getaways, as American a tradation as they come, will soon be gone.
Freedom of the open road? Not any longer, when no one can afford to drive anywhere but work and back.

Inflation will serve the purpose of draining our already lessened savings, making us more likely to have to resort to government loans for our mortgages and to make ends meet. Meaning more goverment oversight into our lives.

True Constitutionalism, if enacted today, with dedication and gravitas, could help this country get out of its current economic, political, and social quagmires. But I'm afraid we might be too late for that.

Thankfully, I'm wrong rather often

By definition, the merger of Corporate and Government power is Facism. The desire on the part of TPTB is to change the thinking of all Americans from self-serving individualism(the foundation of capitalism and innovation) to service for the collective benefit with the Government as the broker of the benefits. In the future, our work will not be about self-serving gain, but about the benefits of that work to society. As the broker, the Government will decide how those benefits are distributed......after they take their cut of course. I can't wait...for the rebellion.

The gas prices here never went very far BELOW $3 a gallon they are now up to $3.11 a gallon in most places. Yet again they are telling us it is going up some more, just in time for summer.

But hey about the MILK POWERED car...milk is $4.29+ a gallon here too so the gas car would still win hands down
