But we ARE at war. Two last I counted. Four if you add 'The War on Drugs' and 'The War on Terror' --- don't discard these two. They are,
afterall, organized, armed, ongoing operations sucking-up billions of dollars.
So, as true as the 'old formula' may have been, our current political-economic situation is largely unprecedented. The economy is in extremely bad
shape and the government has been compromising our currency to keep it on life support. Throw a new, major war into the mix and we're toast. Look
at Germany through WWI. Their economy was destroyed after the war
