Just watched this film on Youtube about the trial being put forth against Shell's activities including Human Rights abuses and the arrest and execution of Ken Saro-Wiwa MOSOP leader along with 7 of his close associates, within Nigeria. www.youtube.com...

A truly horrific case of multi national corporation corruption and complicity and prompting in the abuse of a people to extract oil from their land. The Ogoni, who fought for their land and rights, were routinely beaten arrested and murdered by troops of a brutal Nigerian dictatorship paid for and congratualted by Shell. It is quite shocking to see a company who advertises on all our televisions, on their green potential around the world,www.youtube.com... behave like this.

The trial was supposed to begin today but has been postponed until at least June 2nd. More information is given on this website set up for the trial, wiwavshell.org...

How is it that these companies can behave like this? We know a profit must be made to ensure sharholder happiness and continual growth of a company as demanded by the Capitalist system as set out by Adam Smith. But for this to go on quite routinely and openly and it for take 10 years to reach trial really shows the power of such Corporations.

Is this not a topic worth talking about? An actual case of clear CONSPIRACY by a multi national company to put down an indigineous people in return for oil on their land, rather than a rant about the NWO takeover in 2012 using Obama as the Anti Christ and his Alien Buddy Jesus?

What other companies are up to no good like this. Nike have been found along with Gap to exploit workers in the Third World...What others do people know of?

I followed the entire story when it actually happened, shell's part in what happened is evil and should never be forgotten.
Its the perect example of a large coporation using money to control a corrupt goverment. I have since been mindful about spending my money in any way it involves shell. Shell would not have tried such a thing in europe but guess they value the lives of africans a lot less.

The Royals of the Netherlands and the UK are responsible for orchestrating kidnappings in Nigeria to foment violent insurgency and thereby blackmailing the Nigerian government into the Anglo-Duthc demands.
All organized by Rob Bertholee the chief of the Dutch military intelligence.

A few years back, I visited Port Harcourt in the the Niger Delta and the environmental pollution was devastating. The various oil companies have really done themselves proud - and it has mostly passed beneath the scrutiny of the world, because, well ... it's Africa.
It will be good to see some kind of justice happening for a change.

Nigeria Oil Pollution

More oil is spilled from the Niger delta’s network of terminals, pipes, pumping stations and oil platforms every year than has been lost in the Gulf of Mexico.
