These are some great photos of the Camp Peary perimeter and various gates. Of particlur interest is this photo, does anybody have anidea what this might be? Some kind of detection device?

Considering that there is an airfield directly behind it, at first glance I thought it might be a parachute?

Yeah, it definitely looks like something attached to a parachute that has been dropped from a plane and got caught in a tree!

Could be a training aid for pilots whose canopies get caught in trees and what not. Or even to teach operators how to untangle themselves.
