Isn't this sweet, it is clear to me that the Vatican are moving in to the Sci-Fi era.

The Vatican goes on FaceBook.


In its first day of operation Thursday, the Pope2You portal gathered some 45,000 contacts and 500,000 page views, while a Facebook application that sends postcards with photos of Benedict and excerpts from his messages was used around 10,000 times, the head of the project said.

wow i can message the pope? thats so awesome, i wonder if he'll ask god to lightning bolt me if i mention that the catholic church has done nothing but evil since it was set up and needs to be absolved.

Why is this a conspiracy in a religion? Obama and the White house have myspace. It's just to get more attention and support. Not that I support this Pope or any others.
