Reuters cameraman Ibrahim Jassam has been held since September. The U.S. military rejected a court order to release him, saying he is a 'high security threat.' No evidence has been presented.

Wow, got to love it, our country's intelligence at it's finest. This just makes our country look even worse to the Iraqi people.


No formal accusations have been made against Jassam, and an Iraqi court ordered in November that he be released for lack of evidence. But the U.S. military continues to hold him, saying it has intelligence that he is "a high security threat," said Maj. Neal Fisher, spokesman for detainee affairs.


Wow this is the best that they can come up with as an excuse? He's a high security threat, yet they have no evidence? Am I missing something here?

What are your thoughts?

Perhaps the evidence is highly classified and cannot be released publicly? Funny how the media stomps its feet and throws a fit and starts making accusations when it doesn't have access to all the information that it wants.
