Now that North Korea have let off a second nuclear firecracker and are messing around launching rockets should we now consider the following. North
korea wants economic aid. Fine. North Korea's population is starving. Not fine. North Korea can miracously find the money to fund it's military and
nuclear forces. Given that the world is in the midst of a Credit Crunch should we not all just stick two fingers up at North Korea and say sorry you
will not get any economic aid as you can fund your miltary etc but cant feed your own people? Not only that but any economic aid will only be diverted
to their militaty causes anyway.
I am aware that this new policy may seem dreadful and that an awful lot of innocent North Koreans will die but the political/military leadership in
North Korea dont give a too hoots about it's population anyway. They are already hostages in the event of war as they will be used as cannon fodder
whilst they sit deep underground in their nuclear bunkers.
Anyone want to discuss this?
