I know it's a part of nature.... sorta..... but I have a hard time watching our cat stalk a bannaquit, knowing he is fully capable of grabbing it out of the air because the bannaquits -- for whatever the reason -- tend to dip down and then sharply upward when they are "flushed". The cat knows it too.

Even though he's well fed, he eats the birds. I like the birds. He doesn't get a "goo' boy!" for that. Only rodents. ;o)
