I have to echo KOA dear lady.

You have a transcendental talent. The subtle images, the word relationship, the rhythm must make the spirit of Basho very proud!

You have no idea how much I love your poems.

There's alot of kinship and love in this thread. I'm going to the military projects forum to feel manly again. Good day.

Beam me up Scotty
I'm ready to leave this rock
Ready to explore

Grant me asylum
Temporarily, Picard
I would like to know

I don't think I have scored points on ATS in an eternity lol - haiku is fun and like most forms of poetry can be quite challenging
or not depends on my mood lol I have been following the thread for a while - there have been some wonderful contributions from everyone

I do love the challenge - poetry forces you to think a little differently

...there have been some wonderful contributions from everyone

it's why I love this thread - the same form - the same rules - and everyone has a completely different voice

Privileged or poor
Humans, we always want more
All we get is death

I understand them
They just don't overstand me
And they never will

There is so much scum
I don't want it to be cleansed
I embrace the dirt

Meek shall inherit
The earth or so I am told
I inherit not

The feeling of Spring
Sun rays dance across my skin
Such a warm feeling

The smell of the air
Flowers dancing in the breeze
Grass between my toes

Restoring new life
A new beginning for all
Bring it on summer

The snow still dances
On it's way onto the ground
To meet all its friends

I hear a loud CRASH
No reason to be alarmed
Snow falls off the roof

6 feet of snow here
While you go on about springs
You are killing me
