morning whaaa

my buzz remains - un-killed

:-)

language works our land
views fall fast and hard away
beneath this flying

patchwork fields of mind
beneath speeding crafts of words
behold us working

higher is better
faster, higher – better still
self’s obligation

sorry - just rethought something

I starred you yes me
A lovely blue star for you
A pretty blue star

But not the same no
That twinkle in the night sky
Those are prettier

Well deserved badge

In a dirty little ditty

The warm sun is out
melting all the ice away
rumble bang crash boom

there goes my gutters
Ice falling, took them along
shattered my window

Oh and once again
the insurance company to call
one more estimate

Stupid ice..

whaaa, could you teach me some other forms of poetry to have fun with? I get tired of Haiku, I'm primarily a song writer but like to dabble with a little poetry to ease my mind. Maybe you could show me some stuff?

Are they out in space?
Waiting for us to visit?
We may never know

I was just thinking
Maybe they could come see us
Put us on and stuff

KOA,

I wish I could!! The master of the form in these parts is Ms. Spiramirabilis.
All I know, I've learned from her.

A lonesome feeling
comes from deep inside myself
a scream in my head

a lonely feeling
like a wolfs sorrowful cry
to the moon above

I almost feel like Haiku only makes sense in Japanese, I almost feel guilty writing Haiku in English even if I am just messing around. Nah, it's nothing to worry about.

I've never seen that form of Haiku before. I must have missed it but I didn't realize there was a form of Haiku with that alignment of syllables within stanzas. I learn something new every day!
