Just one year ago today
Ida came tooooooo close

Climbing to the top
To dust off bad memories
A life on the rocks

Loading the pistol
Will only take one bullet
A life defeated

Swimming out to sea
Stopping when there's no way back
Breathing in water

A fist full of pills
Bottle filled with alcohol
Time for the good sleep

Time bells her dark cat
startled mind fast scattered wide
safety in the sky

breath hides in the brine
whole seas wait on water wept
swallowed deep by wide

far cries falling known
my bones split twice tomorrow
buried in today

Fingers scampering
dispassionate plump inky
honey ranting mists

alone in a sigh
nude trees watching russet rise
glancing off the day

slow wings beat thick song
hang like bells along the shore
noise born into sound

low sky worn too close
watching water remember
dream in gulls again

trails like thoughts through sky
Milky Way's roiling backdrop
Gemenid fever

My thoughts were cloudy
And I was feeling lousy
I started to doubt
